This is a sample of one of our Bay Adventure Time newsletters: Welcome back! What a great summer! What a great start of a new school year! We are enjoying seeing old faces and getting to know new ones. Our THEMES FOR SEPTEMBER were, Welcome Back, School Fun, Hot Days, and September Skies. The children created fingerprints, name tags, and visors. For outside fun, we played long ball, kickback, salami, 4-square, jump the creek, as well as made picture frames. The Ks kept busy with name place mats, baking cookies, musical chairs, and hopscotch. HOMEWORK HEROES CLUB If you would like to have your children do their homework before coming home, we offer Homework Heroes Club every day at Adventure Time. The children have help, and they earn rewards, prizes, and certificates. Encourage them to sign up; we'll remind them every day. More free time at home for everyone! OCTOBER As we move into October, we have a great month in progress. The themes are Fall Leaves, Pumpkin Faces, Spooks, Scary Fun, and Bat, Bats. The children are creating pumpkin frames, balloon ghosts, and silly spiders, making doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, and bubbles. We're also involved with soccer, kickback, green light red light, and Halloween pencils, sock bats, spooky cupcakes, and ghost finger paintings.
