This is a sample of one of our Thornhill Adventure Time newsletters: WELCOME BACK THORNHILL We hope that everyone had a fun and restful summer. We are already having a great new school year and have many exciting activities planned. THEMES Our themes for September are potpourri, fall wonders, creepy crawlers, and friendships new and old. The children made pancakes, fall leaf prints, ladybugs, lanyards, beaded barrettes, pizza, friendship books, a fall collage, fall colors, and friendship bracelets. We also fashioned papier-mache bowls, doughnuts, and gak. For October, our themes are Things that Go bump in the night, Orange and Black,The Solar System, and Mad Scientist At Work. We are making worms in dirt, ghost prints, scary monster photos, volcanos, lollipop ghosts, skeletons, tie-dye, a scary collage, orange and black necklaces, pumpkin pudding, pumpkin seeds, jack-o' lanterns, and orange Popsicles.
