WELCOME, EVERYONE, TO VANNOY ADVENTURE TIME!

Hi, everyone! Our A.T. staff is ready to share another fantastically fun school year with your children. The new school year is always exciting to us. We love to see all our returning families and enjoy meeting our new families too! Our dedicated staff never seems to run out of fresh ideas for activities and projects for your children to experience.

Weekly THEMES OF SEPTEMBER were:
Welcome Back
Back To School Fun
Wonderful Me
Fantastic Friends and Family
Fall Frenzy

Welcome Back banners, pennants, signs, and celebration cake got us all ready for a fun new school year together! Back to School Fun found us creating book covers, lunch box snacks, chalk art, and more. Children's name art, all about me activities, me jewelry, and games helped us discover the Wonderful Me in our A.T. children. Fantastic Friends and Family activities included friendship bracelets, games, family picture frames, banners, and friendship cards. We welcomed Fall Frenzy Week by enjoying nature walks and outdoor fun. Fall trees were painted, and nature collages and bracelets were created too!

OCTOBER THEMES
Apples Galore
A Bug's Life
We're Going Batty
Ghastly Ghosts and Goblins
Halloween Hauntings

Apples Galore brings us bushels of apple projects! Children have fun with apple prints, apple fishing, apple stick puzzles, and pass the apple game. They'll taste caramel apple cider, apple cobbler and crisp, and apple muffins, too! A Bug's Life is experienced by making beaded bugs, bug antennae, and buggy art. Buggy treats will be quite tasty. Catch a bee game and bug tag will be fun to play outside! Beware, We're Going Batty: watch for our upcoming flying bats, glow-in-the-dark bats, and bat masks. Batty fun will be had by all. Ghastly Ghosts and Goblins. Boo! It'll be a little spooky around here with all the Ghastly Ghostly projects. Beware of all the Goblins munching on Ghostly treats! Halloween Hauntings. Eerie sounds, witches, black cats, skeletons, jack-o'-lanterns, monster mash music, and more will fill our A.T. days in a bone-chilling way!

A.M.s
We are happy to be here to greet your children each morning. Your children will have fun with their friends playing games, doing projects, and playing outside. There's always time to quietly read and work on homework, too! They'll have a snack to satisfy their tummies just before they're off to school.

K-TIME
We welcome all our new kinders and their families to our K-Time program. This is their special time to share with friends and all of us. There will be lots of fun activities for your kinder to do inside and outside with us. There's free playtime for them too. We're playing games, cooking/baking projects, and crafts too! We also read stories to them. We are really excited to be sharing this special time with your kinder!

P.E.
Your children will have plenty of opportunities during their afternoons at A.T. to have some P.E. fun. There's free physical playtime outside daily at the bars, playing with the balls, Hula Hooping, jumping rope, and more. Our staff will also offer challenging games of basketball, softball, football, hand soccer, relay racing, and games, too!

COOKING
Hey, kids! here's many delicious goodies waiting for you to prepare, cook, bake, and munch with your A.T. friends. We welcomed our friends and the new school year in September by making celebration cake, Cheerio treats, backpack snacks, and happy face cookies. You can look forward to a galore of apple treats and goblin munchies this month.

HOMEWORK HEROES CLUB
