Some of the activities we had in September were stone-age art, rain sticks, button boy key chains, soccer, kickball, and a game called toss the feathers. We helped the children make noodle jewelry, charm bracelets and origami boxes. Outside we kept them busy with relay races, dodgeball, and cartoon tag. We showed the children how to make clay volcanos, butterflies, and a sense mobile inside. While outside, it was funnel ball, double Dutch jump rope, and bubbles. Children had a taste test, made frosting dough animals, and conducted science experiments. We kept them hopping with basketball, hand shake, and 4-square. In the mornings the children kept busy making pencil holders, bell chimes, shadow puppets, playing circle tag, jump rope, and 4-square. We taught the children how to make pencil pouches, slime, and scrapbooks. Outside we played monkey in the middle, hoop to hoop, and line tag.

The children are having fun making black cats, magic wands, and pumpkin faces while they are using up some of their energy with sack races, HORSE, and a marble race. We are making spiral witches, bat mobiles, and hanging spiders inside. While outside, we're busy with knock out, dodgeball, and jump rope. We are carving pumpkins, creating costumes, face painting, and making chocolate covered lollipops. Outside we are holding a Halloween scavenger hunt, playing prison dodgeball, and blowing bubbles. The kinders are keeping busy with literature and singing, outside activities, cooking, and arts and crafts projects.
